Da Nang - An Hai Ward Trade Union organizes the launch of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.

News from An Hai Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on April 25 said: An Hai Ward Trade Union organizes a ceremony to celebrate the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2026); launching Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Do Duc Tinh - Chairman of An Hai Ward Trade Union recalled the glorious milestones of the world workers' movement; the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day May 1; the role and great contribution of the Vietnamese working class in the revolutionary struggle, construction and development of the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

On this occasion, An Hai Ward Trade Union launched the Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 with the theme of Workers' Month: "An Hai workers innovate, create, improve labor productivity associated with digital transformation and green transformation" and the theme of Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health: "Strengthening assessment and control of risks to occupational safety and health, building a safe and healthy working environment in the digital age".

At the program, 1 individual was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 2 collectives received Certificates of Merit from the Da Nang City Labor Federation for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good Labor" and building a strong trade union organization in 2025. 16 collectives and individuals were also awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of An Hai Ward People's Committee.
