The Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor and the Vietinbank - Phu Yen Branch Trade Union awarded scholarships to 2 students who overcame difficulties and won Olympic medals 10-3.
On October 4, information from the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor said that the unit had just coordinated with the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade Trade Union - Phu Yen Branch to organize a scholarship award program for two students with especially difficult circumstances but trying to rise up and achieve excellent academic results.
Accordingly, the working group awarded 2 scholarships to Pham Bang Nhu - who won a Silver Medal in Geography in grade 10 and Le Thi Thu Trang - who won a Bronze Medal in Biology in grade 11 at the 8th Dak Lak Province 10-3 Traditional Olympic Competition in 2025. Each scholarship is worth 1 million VND.
Both students are students of Ngo Gia Tu High School, with their mother working at Ea Kar Medical Center. Despite many difficulties in the family, the mother's illness, and the father's unstable job, the children have tried their best to study.
As a result, they won medals, bringing pride to their families, schools and localities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phu Lap - Vice President of the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized: These scholarships not only have the meaning of material support but also are a source of spiritual encouragement, adding motivation for students to continue to strive, pursue dreams and build a bright future.
