Dak Lak prepares for the 1st Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030

On September 24, the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the unit has issued a plan to organize a grassroots trade union congress, towards the 1st Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Trade union congresses at all levels are an important milestone, demonstrating the fundamental change in the organizational model in the new period; at the same time, concretizing the Party's guidelines and resolutions and the State's policies and laws into the union congress resolution.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the congress is tasked with summarizing and evaluating the implementation of the past term's resolutions; proposing directions for activities for the new term; amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; electing a new Executive Committee.

Congresses at all levels are required to continue to innovate content and form towards practicality, efficiency, focusing on quality, saving time, budget and ensuring progress.

The Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union Congress will discuss and approve the report of the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee for the 2023-2028 term; decide on targets, directions, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; contribute opinions to the draft documents of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 2026-2031 term.

The Congress will also synthesize recommendations from union members and workers in the province related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers and trade union activities.

According to the plan, commune and ward trade unions must complete the congress before October 31; grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions must complete before November 30. The Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union Congress will be held after the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, and will be completed before December 31.
