Ms. Vo Thi Truc Phua re-elected as Chairwoman of the Hau Giang General Hospital Trade Union

During her term, the Trade Union of Hau Giang General Hospital organized many activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, etc. Accordingly, the unit has built 3 new Union Shelters; given gifts to union members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Workers' Month with a total cost of 28.9 million VND; given Tet gifts to union members and employees with a total value of 98 million VND; Cared for the children of union members and employees with nearly 167 million VND,...

In addition, the grassroots trade union also coordinated with the government and grassroots trade unions to organize seminars on "Trade unions with the role and coordination in caring for the lives of union members and workers".

To successfully carry out the goals and tasks of the Trade Union organization and practically achieve achievements in celebrating major holidays, the Executive Committee (EC) of the Trade Union of Hau Giang General Hospital has launched emulation movements among cadres, union members, and employees such as sports festivals, the "Humanitarian Meal" model, the "Rice of Love" program, blood donation "Red Journey", ...

Responding to the emulation movement of good workers and creative workers, during the term, the unit had 8 scientific research topics, 22 solution initiatives, and 8 new technical applications in medical examination, treatment, and patient care at the department.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - acknowledged and appreciated the efforts, sense of responsibility, creativity, and solidarity of the Executive Committee, members, and employees at the hospital.

Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation proposed that the grassroots trade unions continue to enhance their role in representing and protecting the rights of union members; Focus on solutions to care for union members' lives in autonomous conditions; Strongly innovate the content and methods of operation; Link trade union activities with the political and professional tasks of the health sector; Build a strong trade union organization.

The Congress elected 9 comrades to the Executive Committee of the new term Trade Union; elected 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Congress of the Can Tho City Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030. Ms. Vo Thi Truc Phua was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Hau Giang General Hospital Trade Union.
