Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh becomes Chairwoman of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation's grassroots trade union

On November 25, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) organized the 1st Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - attended and directed the Congress

During the 2023-2025 term, the Provincial Federation of Labor Trade Union with 41 union members, high political and professional qualifications, and stable lives, has pioneered in leading the Vinh Long trade union system through advising the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee to direct and orient professional fields to implement the goals and targets of the Trade Union organization.

At the same time, the Trade Union coordinates to improve working conditions, improve life, organize movements, cultural and sports activities, promptly mobilize resources, and visit union members in difficult circumstances. The emulation movement achieved outstanding results, 100% of advanced workers and many individuals were recognized as grassroots emulation fighters.

Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor's Trade Union continues to pioneer in leading and striving to develop 100% of qualified workers to join the Trade Union; discover, advise on introducing and training 100% of excellent union members for the Party to consider admitting.

The union continues to promote emulation movements, organize cultural and artistic activities, sports competitions, festivals, and sports festivals, improve the quality of the Women's Union with 100% of female union members achieving the title of "Good at public work, good at housework", promptly advise on tasks and solutions to promote the spirit of innovation and creativity in the workers' movement and improve the quality of union activities in the new situation.

At the congress, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor's Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 3 comrades, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - to be appointed as President of the Provincial Federation of Labor's Trade Union for the new term.

In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh acknowledged the pioneering and exemplary role of the Provincial Federation of Labor Trade Union, and at the same time requested the new Executive Committee to promote solidarity, innovate methods, and improve the quality of caring for union members.

In the past term, the Provincial Federation of Labor Trade Union has pioneered, cared for the rights of union members, advised on improving the quality of collective labor agreements, organized 9,490 propaganda sessions with 152,013 participants.

The grassroots trade union coordinated with leaders of training agencies to train cadres, train 6 postgraduate students, 3 graduates in political theory, participate in 96 professional classes, improve work efficiency and team quality.

The Provincial Federation of Labor Trade Union plays a core role, leading the movement of union members in the whole province, pioneering in the application of digital technology, being exemplary in implementing democratic regulations, building strong agencies.

Entering the new term, the grassroots trade union must be pioneering, united, innovative, build a dynamic working environment, care for union members' lives and effectively lead the movement in the whole province.

The Provincial Federation of Labor's Trade Union is the core, leading the entire trade union system.
