8 teams compete in the football tournament for youth and workers in Bac Ninh province

On January 11, at the Dong Son Sports Center football field, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation in coordination with the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union organized the Opening Ceremony of the Men's Football Tournament to celebrate the 96th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026) and successfully welcomed the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Bac - Head of the Trade Union Work Committee, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Doan Duc Han - Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The football tournament brings together 8 participating teams (4 teams established by the Provincial Youth Union and 4 teams established by the Provincial Labor Federation). The players are youth union members, union members and workers working at agencies and business units in Bac Ninh province. The tournament is scheduled to close on February 1, 2026.

The tournament is organized to practically celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and successfully organize the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030 towards the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.

In his opening speech, Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that the tournament is a valuable opportunity for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, youth union members of Bac Ninh province to improve their health and spirit, create an environment for movement, improve physical strength and endurance, and especially an opportunity for units to exchange, connect, and share experiences. Thereby, together building an office culture, a corporate culture that is increasingly active, united, and mutually supportive in performing tasks.

The Organizing Committee believes that the tournament will be a success, leaving many beautiful impressions in the hearts of athletes and fans.
