500 warm "Union Meals" to celebrate National Day in Da Nang
Da Nang - The City Labor Federation will organize a "Union Meal" in 2025, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
On August 15, implementing Instruction No. 02/HD-TLD dated July 4, 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation coordinated to organize the "Union Meal" program in 2025 at the Scavi Hue Company Branch in Da Nang.
The activity aims to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The program has the participation of 500 workers. Each meal is raised by the support from the trade union finance and socialization, with a total budget of more than VND 15 million.
The meal is carefully prepared, ensuring nutrition, food hygiene and safety, and has a practical meaning in the care of material and spiritual life for union members and workers. This is an opportunity for people to share a warm meal together, increasing the collective cohesion.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation also presented 10 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong - Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation - sent congratulations to all employees on the occasion of National Day 2.9, and expressed her appreciation for their silent contributions to the development of businesses and the city.
Ms. Huong emphasized: "Each union meal is not only a share of material but also a heart, the affection of the union organization for union members and workers. We hope that through these warm meals, colleagues will be more durable and each person will feel more clearly the attention and companionship of the Trade Union."
Through the program, the Da Nang Trade Union continues to affirm its role as a companion, caring for the lives of union members and workers; at the same time, creating opportunities for business leaders to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers, contributing to building an increasingly better working environment.
