100 workers participate in the trade union organization in Dong Thap

On September 19, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Board of Directors of Market Fit Vietnam Production Company Limited (Quang Tho Hamlet, Tan Thuan Binh Commune, Dong Thap Province) to organize a Ceremony to announce the Decision to establish a grassroots Trade Union and appoint a provisional Executive Committee.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Federation of Labor approved the Decision to admit 100 union members of Market Fit Vietnam Production Company Limited. Of which, there are 65 female workers and the Decision to establish a grassroots trade union and appoint the provisional Executive Committee of Market Fit Vietnam Production Company Limited, consisting of 5 comrades, with Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Chau as Chairwoman.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Khac Tinh - Permanent Vice President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor congratulated the collective of employees and the Board of Directors of the Company for their agreement and coordination to establish the Trade Union organization.

The Standing Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized that grassroots trade unions are a common home for workers, a place for gathering and uniting workers, and at the same time a bridge connecting with business owners.

I believe that the Provisional Executive Committee will quickly come into effective operation, develop a specific program to better care for the material and spiritual life of union members, protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, and at the same time contribute to improving productivity, quality and production and business efficiency of the Company, the Standing Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor stated.

Mr. Le Thanh Chung - Company Director affirmed that the Company's Board of Directors will always create favorable conditions for the grassroots Trade Union to promote its role, accompanying the development of the enterprise. The establishment of the grassroots Trade Union will contribute to building a democratic, harmonious, stable and progressive working environment, thereby improving the lives and long-term attachment of employees to the Company.

On behalf of the Provisional Executive Committee, Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Chau - Chairwoman of the Trade Union expressed her honor to be trusted and committed to working with the Provisional Executive Committee to make every effort, promote the spirit of solidarity and creativity to build an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, truly a reliable support for workers.

The establishment of a grassroots Trade Union at Market Fit Vietnam Manufacturing Co., Ltd. not only expands the network of Trade Union organizations in the non-state enterprise sector, but also meets the legitimate aspirations of workers, contributing to affirming the role and position of the Trade Union organization in accompanying the sustainable development of enterprises and caring for union members and workers.
