Over 52 billion VND to take care of union members in Quang Ngai
Quang Ngai - In the first 6 months of the year, trade unions at all levels in the province took care of hundreds of thousands of union members with a total amount of over 52 billion VND.
On June 28, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor said that in the first 6 months of 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented many exciting and practical activities, focusing on the grassroots and workers.
Notably, the work of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. Trade unions at all levels in the province have taken care of Tet for more than 121,000 union members and workers, with a total amount of over 52 billion VND.
On the occasion of Workers' Month 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor visited and supported 270 union members with a total amount of 290 million VND; mobilized and supported the construction of 32 new "Union Shelters" (each house worth 50 million VND) for union members; coordinated with the Quang Ngai Department of Health, the Provincial Youth Union to organize a Health Examination Day, providing free medicine to nearly 300 workers and laborers...
Propaganda and dissemination activities on laws especially on social insurance and traffic safety policies have been widely implemented, contributing to raising awareness among workers.
