Over 160 Trade Unions organize the "Union Meal" program

On October 13, Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union (VTC) said that in the third quarter of 2025, the VTC has directed its affiliated trade unions to continue to coordinate with the professional sector to organize labor conferences and conferences for civil servants.

By the end of September 2025, the rate of units organizing conferences for civil servants will reach 100%, conferences for workers will reach 75%, and 532 dialogues will be held at the workplace. Through the organization of conferences, employees and leaders of units and enterprises have the opportunity to discuss, amend and supplement, and complete internal regulations, rules, work plans, production and business and amend and supplement provisions in internal regulations and collective labor agreements (CLAs) to suit the practical situation.

Implementing the "Union Meal" program in 2025, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union has directed its affiliated units to focus on implementation.

With the attention of leaders at all levels, over 160 trade unions organized the "Union Meal" program with the participation of 33,563 union members and employees.

This is an opportunity for cadres, union members, and workers to share, feel confident, create a warm atmosphere, understand and encourage the spirit of workers to strive for good work. This program is also a practical activity affirming the responsibility and concern of the trade union organization in caring for the lives of union members and workers; contributing to strengthening solidarity and cohesion between workers, trade union organizations and agencies and enterprises.

The Vietnam Construction Trade Union and its affiliated units regularly pay attention to organizing activities to visit, support and encourage workers, especially union members and workers in difficult circumstances and those who have had work-related accidents.

In the third quarter of 2025, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union supported 6 union members who died of serious illnesses with a total amount of VND 60,000,000; supported 30 union members of Lilama 1 Vocational College with difficult circumstances, each VND 1,000,000.

The Vietnam Construction Trade Union also continues to implement legal consultation activities for 15 union members and workers in person and online; especially maintaining a legal consultation section for workers on the Vietnam Construction Trade Union electronic information page to contribute to disseminating the law to a large number of union members and workers.
