Giving support to workers affected by storm No. 10 in Thanh Hoa
Thanh Hoa - On the afternoon of October 2, representatives of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor presented gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to support workers affected by storm No. 10.
Accordingly, authorized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor came to present support gifts to workers at Rollsport Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. and Aleron Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd.
At these two enterprises, 40 union members received support, each worth 2 million VND. These are cases of heavy damage caused by the tornado in storm No. 10 in Hoang Giang and Hoang Phu communes.
At the gift-giving ceremony, representatives of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor kindly visited the health, shared the difficulties with the union members, and at the same time hoped that the families would strive to overcome the consequences, soon stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.
It is known that on this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has supported workers in Thanh Hoa province who suffered damage due to storm No. 10, with a total amount of 200 million VND. The Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to give these gifts to union members and workers in the province.
Millions of arms turn to compatriots affected by storms and floods
Consecutive storms No. 8, 9, 10 and floods caused by the storm have killed 19 people and many people are missing. Many houses and production and business establishments had their roofs blown off and suffered heavy damage. People across the northern and central mountainous provinces are struggling to cope with floods and heavy losses in human lives and property due to floods and thunderstorms.
