Reunion Tet comes to workers in difficult circumstances in Tay Nam ward, Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City - On February 1st, the Trade Union of Tay Nam ward organized the program "Tet reunion - Spring of gratitude to the Party" in 2026.
Attending the program were leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Nam ward and about nearly 500 workers working in the locality.
According to the Tay Nam Ward Trade Union, there are over 180 grassroots trade unions in the ward, with more than 43,000 union members, of which over 60% are migrant workers.
In the past year, some businesses in the area lacked orders for production and had to cut working hours, so the jobs and incomes of workers were also affected. Workers far from home, who have to rent rooms, still face many difficulties in life. This year, thousands of union members and workers cannot return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet with their families and relatives.

With the desire to bring warmth, care, and sharing from the trade union organization to union members and workers, the Ward Trade Union organizes the program "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party", "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026". Through these activities, we will take care of the material and spiritual life of cadres, union members, and poor workers far from home who are in difficult circumstances in the ward on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026" - Mr. Huynh Ngoc Chau - Chairman of Tay Nam Ward Trade Union said.
At the program, the organizing committee presented dozens of gifts to workers far from home who are in difficult circumstances. In addition, gifts were given and encouraged workers' children to strive to overcome difficulties.

Participating in the Tet reunion program, workers are allowed to buy goods that are necessities, items, and supplies for Tet. All items here are sold at discounted prices to share with workers. In addition, the Tay Nam Ward Trade Union also organizes a zone to introduce jobs for unemployed workers.
