Eating well worth 300,000 VND at the Union Meal
On August 8, Hai Phong New Port International Container Port Company Limited/Army Corps 20 organized a Union Meal.
Attending were Ms. Tran Kim Anh - Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Colonel Nguyen Van De - Head of the National Defense Trade Union Department; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Manh - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Corps; Lieutenant Colonel Doan Hai Tuan - Chairman of the Board of Members of Hai Phong New Port International Container Port Company Limited.
Speaking at the program, Colonel Nguyen Van De highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and proactiveness of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Tan Port International Container Port Company Limited in coordinating the organization of the program with the participation of 195 union officials, union members and workers.
The meal at the Union Meal is worth VND300,000/meal, deducted from the Company's service revenue. It can be said that this is the highest guaranteed food level for units in the entire army, clearly demonstrating the concern and care of the Party Committee, command and grassroots trade union of the Company for workers.
On this occasion, the National Defense Trade Union presented 10 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
"The Union Meal Program not only brings a cozy, nutritious meal, but is also an opportunity for us to share, understand, and become more attached to each other. That is a vivid demonstration of the goal of practically caring for the lives of workers - true to the motto: Wherever there are workers, there is a Trade Union accompanying them.
