Female worker equipped with knowledge about cervical cancer screening
An Giang - More than 100 female union members and workers of Hwaseung Rach Gia Company Limited attended the propaganda session.
On the afternoon of October 31, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Provincial Center for Disease Control and the Trade Union of Hwaseung Rach Gia Company Limited to organize a propaganda campaign on cervical cancer prevention and screening in 2025. More than 100 female workers of the company participated in the propaganda session.
The program aims to advise and provide reproductive health care services for workers in industrial parks and export processing zones, provide guidance on prevention and control of cervical cancer.
Improving reproductive health while increasing access and improving the quality of prevention and screening for cervical cancer. Thereby promoting reproductive health care for female union members and workers at grassroots trade unions in the province.
According to Ms. Ton Nu My Hanh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Hwaseung Rach Gia Company Limited, this activity is very useful for female union members and workers to better understand the importance and practical benefits of screening and prevention of cervical cancer.
