Quang Ngai workers receive great support from the trade union
Quang Ngai - The Labor Federation cares for 121,000 union members, spends more than 52 billion VND, builds 32 shelters, and enrolls 4,000 union members.
On July 2, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor said: In the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province have implemented many activities to care for union members and workers with a total budget of over 52 billion VND; more than 121 thousand union members and workers have benefited.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has supported the construction of 32 new "Union Shelters" with a total cost of 1.6 billion VND. At the same time, support 325 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, and those with serious illnesses, with a total amount of 380 million VND.
During Workers' Month 2025, 270 union members and workers in difficult circumstances were supported with a total amount of 290 million VND. Trade unions at all levels have admitted nearly 4,000 new union members, established 10 new grassroots unions; 309 union members have been admitted to the Party.
Implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Central Executive Committee and Conclusion 157-KL/TW dated May 25, 2025 of the Politburo, the Provincial Federation of Labor issued a decision to dissolve and terminate the activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committees at 13 Labor Federations of districts, towns, and cities; Trade Unions of Party agencies; Provincial People's Committee Trade Unions; Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks Trade Union, from July 1, 2025.
At the same time, the province has implemented the development of a Project to establish a new Trade Union Working Committee and a Project to establish a new Commune-level Trade Union.
