Quang Ngai ends the operation of 928 grassroots trade unions

On June 30, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor said: Implementing Conclusion No. 157-KL/TW dated May 25, 2025 of the Politburo on the arrangement of the apparatus, administrative units and directives and guidance documents of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor has focused on implementing the tasks of arranging and streamlining the organization and apparatus.

Accordingly, by June 15, 2025, 928 grassroots trade unions under administrative agencies and public service units with 100% salary from the state budget have been dissolved, with over 30,130 union members.

At the same time, receive 256 grassroots trade unions with nearly 73,000 union members of enterprises, fishing unions and autonomous public service units of groups 1, 2, 3 (according to Decree No. 60/2021/ND-CP of the Government) to the Provincial Labor Federation to directly manage and direct activities.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor requested that trade unions at all levels in the province strictly implement the work of settling trade union finances; receive and hand over accounting data and accounting documents in accordance with regulations; coordinate the implementation of auditing trade union financial reports; strengthen political and ideological work for union members, workers, civil servants and laborers in implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus according to the policies of the Party, State and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
