Vietnam Industrial Park supports 400 million VND to take care of workers and children of disadvantaged workers

HCMC - Vietnam Industrial Park Company implements a program to care for workers and children of disadvantaged workers through the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund.

On November 4, 2025, at the Lao Dong Newspaper Office Building in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Hardy Diec - Executive Director of Vietnam Industrial Parks Group - representative of Vietnam Industrial Parks Company, and representatives of Lao Dong Newspaper signed a memorandum of understanding on coordinating the implementation of a sponsorship program to care for union members, workers and students who are children of workers in difficult circumstances, overcome difficulties, and study well.

Accordingly, through the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund and Lao Dong Newspaper, Vietnam Industrial Parks Company sponsored a total of 400 million VND for activities to support the construction and repair of houses for union members in especially difficult circumstances under the Trade Union Shelter program and awarded scholarships to students who are children of workers who overcome difficulties and study well.

The detailed contents agreed to be implemented by both sides include:

Support the construction and repair of houses for union members under the "Union Shelter" program in 4 provinces and cities (Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong), with a support level of 50,000,000 VND for each shelter;

Sponsored 100 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) for students who are children of union members who "overcome difficulties and study well" in 4 provinces and cities: Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong (25-person province);

Financial support and scholarships for 2 schools (Hai Phong Industrial College and Long An College), each school is 50,000,000 VND.

The coordination activities between Lao Dong Newspaper and Vietnam Industrial Park Company aim at the following goals: Improving and enhancing the material and spiritual life of workers and laborers, especially union members facing housing difficulties; Encouraging and motivating the studious spirit of students who are children of union members and workers to contribute to creating motivation to strive and develop young human resources in the future; Contributing to building a friendly, responsible and sustainable business image and promoting sustainable development in the working and social community; and demonstrating social responsibility and the humanistic spirit of Vietnam Industrial Park Company, spreading the value of humanity and the spirit of "mutual love", contributing to building a strong, civilized and happy working community.
