Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union innovates, takes better care of workers
Lam Dong - Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union identified 5 key tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term to better care for workers' lives.
On October 30, Ms. Dao Thi Ha Ny - Chairwoman of the Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong Province) said that the unit had just organized the 1st Congress, term 2025-2030 successfully and well.
Currently, Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union has 15 grassroots trade unions with 1,553 union members, mainly working in the fields of services, tourism and production - business.
Grassroots trade unions have promoted their role as representatives and protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. Thanks to that, the lives and jobs of union members have been increasingly improved, with an average income of 5.57 million VND/month.
In recent times, the union has focused on activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members.
Notably, grassroots trade unions regularly dialogue and improve the quality of shift meals worth VND20,00025,000/meal, while effectively maintaining the Union Meal model.
In addition, the unit has presented hundreds of social security gifts to union members and workers with a total value of nearly 100 million VND, and coordinated with employers to give gifts on holidays and Tet worth more than 300 million VND.
These activities contribute to improving welfare, better care for union members and workers, and spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the community, Ms. Ny emphasized.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union aims to improve operational efficiency, affirming its role in representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".
The unit set out 8 main targets and identified 5 key groups of tasks and solutions including: Continuing to innovate and perfect the trade union organization, ensuring effective and practical operations.
Strengthen propaganda and mobilization of union members to grasp the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State. Strengthen representation, care for, and protection of legitimate rights and interests, contributing to improving the quality of life of union members and workers.
At the congress, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation appointed Ms. Dao Thi Ha Ny to hold the position of Chairwoman of Tien Thanh Ward Labor Union for the 2025-2030 term.
