Petrovietnam Trade Union supports union members and workers affected by storms and floods
Thanh Hoa - On October 20, Petrovietnam Trade Union said it had directly visited and supported union members and workers affected by storms and floods.
The working delegation of Petrovietnam Trade Union led by Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Permanent Vice President of Petrovietnam Trade Union directly visited and encouraged workers of Nghi Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (NSRP) affected by storms and floods.
On this occasion, NSRP also presented 600 million VND and 5 tons of rice to people affected by storm No. 10 in the area.
In response to the attention of the Trade Union at all levels, Ms. Do Thi Chung, a member of the NSRP, shared: During the days of prolonged storms and floods, the deep water caused the family's daily life to be disrupted, and many properties were damaged.
In that situation, the timely attention of Petrovietnam Trade Union and NSRP is a great source of encouragement, helping us to be more steadfast in overcoming difficulties - Ms. Do Thi Chung said.
