Hue Textile and Garment Trade Union receives union members and workers in flooded areas
The Hue Textile and Garment Trade Union promptly coordinated with the company and the Youth Union to bring necessities and clean water to the hands of workers, helping them stabilize their lives after the flood.
On November 6, the leader of the Trade Union of Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company said that due to the impact of a particularly heavy rain lasting from October 27 to November 3, 2025 in Hue City, many households, including workers of Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company, were isolated, without power, and lacked clean water and food.
Immediately after grasping the situation, the Company, the Trade Union and the Hue Textile and Garment Youth Union quickly coordinated to visit and support food, drinking water and essential necessities to reach workers in areas that were still deeply flooded and isolated.
Along with that, the unit continues to review, count the damage, and develop appropriate support plans to help workers soon stabilize their lives and return to production.
A representative of the Hue Textile and Garment Trade Union said that the company also recommends that all officers and employees proactively ensure safety against storm No. 13, due to the complicated developments of heavy rain and the risk of flooding in many areas.
