Many flooded areas in Lam Dong, grassroots unions allow workers to quit their jobs early

In the face of prolonged heavy rain, on October 30, Binh Thuan Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited (Lam Dong province) announced an increase in flood discharge at Song Quao and Suoi Da lakes to ensure the safety of the project.

From the afternoon of October 30, many areas in Ham Thuan commune, Ham Thuan Bac commune, Ham Liem commune, ... were flooded due to rising water. Currently, local authorities are rescuing and evacuating people and property.

This is also an area with a large number of workers and laborers working in Ham Kiem Industrial Park.

In response to the above situation, the Trade Union of Right Rich International Company Limited in Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park has notified all workers and laborers to finish their shift early and at 2:30 p.m. the same day.

Mr. Tran Duy Thanh - Chairman of Ham Kiem Commune Trade Union said that the Trade Union of Right Rich International Company Limited has a large number of workers, mainly from Ham Thuan and Ham Thuan Bac communes, which are currently affected by floods. Therefore, the company sent workers home early to take care of their family affairs and cope with flooding.
