Big resources for a prosperous Tet

Lunar New Year is always a sensitive time for workers, especially workers far from home, with low incomes or affected by natural disasters and job fluctuations.

Understanding that, on the occasion of Binh Ngo Tet 2026, the Da Nang City Labor Federation has implemented the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" with a total resource of nearly 30 billion VND, directly focusing on activities to support and care for union members and workers.

This funding is allocated to many key programs: more than 24 billion VND for 24,000 Tet gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances; over 6.5 billion VND to distribute more than 65,000 shopping vouchers at Trade Union Tet Market points; billions of VND to organize Trade Union Bus Trips and Trains to take thousands of workers home for free Tet; and many other social security activities.

According to Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, allocating large resources for Tet is not only material support. But "we determine that taking care of Tet for union members and workers is an important political task. The goal is to leave no one behind, so that every worker has Tet, celebrates Tet, and is assured to be attached to businesses and the city" - Mr. Dai said.

Caring for Tet - investing in long-term stability

The figures of tens of billions of VND are only truly meaningful when they reach the right people at the right time. For many workers, the support of the Trade Union during Tet is a great spiritual support.

Ms. Le Thi Lien, from Cua Ong, Quang Ninh, currently working at Hoa Cam Industrial Park, shared: "This Tet, I was surprised to receive a gift worth 1 million VND from the Da Nang City Labor Federation plus 5 free shopping vouchers. This is a fairly large amount of money, equivalent to 1/6 of my monthly salary. I am very grateful to the Trade Union organization because this gift has helped my family have a warm and fulfilling Tet this year.

Not only supporting individuals, the programs also create a spreading effect in the worker community, helping to stabilize the psychology of workers staying to work during Tet, especially in large industrial parks.

In addition to gifts and means of transportation to return to their hometowns, the Da Nang City Labor Federation also allocates funds to organize the Trade Union Year-end Meal, visit workers at self-managed worker groups in boarding houses, and support grassroots trade union officials in difficult circumstances... All are calculated in a common overall resource, ensuring fairness and efficiency.

From the perspective of labor management, spending nearly 30 billion VND to care for Tet for workers is not only "social security spending", but also an investment in social stability and sustainable development.

When workers are properly cared for, they will be assured to work and stick with them for a long time. That is also the foundation for businesses to stabilize production and for the city to develop" - Mr. Le Van Dai emphasized.

Binh Ngo Tet 2026, with a series of practical programs, large resources and methodical approaches, shows that the Da Nang Trade Union is continuing to affirm its role as a reliable support for workers - not only on weekdays, but also in the most important reunion moment of the year.
