Da Nang Trade Union spends more than 30 billion VND to organize Tet Sum Vay

Mr. Le Van Dai - Permanent Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation - said: On the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" with a series of activities to care for union members and workers with the motto: "All union members and workers have Tet, enjoy Tet".

2026 Trade Union Tet Market

The Da Nang City Labor Federation organized 4 "Union Tet Market" locations and distributed more than 65,000 shopping vouchers (total value of more than 6.5 billion VND) to union members and workers to shop at the Union Tet Market.

"Union Tet Market" at Hoa Khanh Ward Administrative Center Square, from February 5-8, 2026 (December 18-21, lunar calendar) with about 70-80 booths, providing essential services, selling goods at the same price, discounting essential items along with many cultural and artistic programs to serve union members, workers and people in the area.

In addition to the Tet Market in Hoa Khanh Ward, the City Labor Federation organized 3 mobile Union Tet Market locations in Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park with 15,185 shopping vouchers; Tam Thang Industrial Park with 14,820 vouchers; Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park with 5,000 vouchers.

Union Bus trip - Spring 2026

The Da Nang City Labor Federation continues to organize the "Union Bus" with 4,600 union members and relatives participating. The buses are organized completely free of charge to take union members and their families home to celebrate Tet safely.

The special humane feature of the program is that union members and their families (including their father, mother, wife, husband, and children) at grassroots unions under the Da Nang City Trade Union system who need to return home for Tet are all participating in the program.

The buses take place over a period of 5 days, starting from the first trip on February 11, 2026 (December 24th of the lunar calendar), until February 15, 2026 (December 28th of the lunar calendar) which will be the last day of the program. The journey to the North is to Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri provinces; the South is to Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa provinces.

Trade Union Train - Spring 2026

The Da Nang City Labor Federation presented nearly 2,000 train tickets to union members and relatives. The subjects who are given tickets are union members and their families (including father, mother, wife, husband, children of union members) at grassroots unions under the Da Nang City Union system with difficult circumstances and need to return home for Tet.

The subjects awarded tickets are one of the following cases: With income (average household income) equal to or lower than the regional minimum wage calculated at the time of consideration (for employees in the enterprise) or the salary level 3 or lower of the specialist rank (for public service units).

Union members who are sick, have work accidents, occupational diseases or have relatives in the family (including father, mother, wife, husband, children) who are not healthy enough to return to their hometown by other means of transport; union members whose working hours have been reduced, their income has been reduced, their wages and social insurance are owed, and there is no Tet bonus due to difficulties of the enterprise.

The Trade Union - Spring 2026 train takes place over 4 days, from February 13, 2026 to February 16, 2026 (December 26-29 of the lunar calendar). Traffic routes: Starting from Tam Ky Station and Da Nang Station to the northern provinces and cities (end point is Hanoi Station) and the southern provinces and cities (end point is Saigon Station).
