Duy Xuyen Commune Union, Da Nang donates over 1.2 billion VND to union members in difficult circumstances

News from the Duy Xuyen Commune Union, Da Nang City on January 24 said: Duy Xuyen Commune Union held a conference to summarize activities in 2025, set out key directions and tasks for 2026, and presented gifts to support union members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.

The conference was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation and Mr. Nguyen Van Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Duy Xuyen Commune Party Committee.

In 2025, Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union will continue to promote its role as a representative, caregiver, and defender the legitimate rights of union members and workers.

The commune trade union has increased dialogue, negotiation, improved the quality of agreements and built harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations; stepped up propaganda on Party Congresses at all levels, the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations; successfully organized the first commune trade union congress.

In addition, care activities are being implemented more and more practically with many social security programs. In particular, Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union presented 305 cash gifts worth more than 600 million VND to union members who suffered heavy losses during floods; organized visits and encouraged businesses affected by natural disasters.

On this occasion, Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union supported cash and 2,696 shopping vouchers for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, including online and direct shopping at mobile union Tet markets organized by Da Nang City Labor Federation.

The total support and voucher donation cost is more than 1.2 billion VND, from the financial resources allocated by the Da Nang City Labor Union and vouchers supported by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
