Union meal worth 65,000 VND/ portion for 1,100 workers in Ho Chi Minh City
HCMC - The Trade Union of Great Process Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a Trade Union Meal worth 65,000 VND/meal for 1,100 workers.
On August 8, the Trade Union of Great Process Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Nam Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with the enterprise to organize a "Union Meal" program for all employees.
The meal was attended by representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 9, representatives of the Tay Nam Ward Labor Union, and leaders of Great Process Vietnam Co., Ltd.
The Union meal is organized at a value of 65,000 VND/meal (of which the union supports an additional 40,000 VND/meal). Quality meals with braised meat, shrimp, chicken thighs, soup, milk and fruit.
The Union Meal at Great Process Vietnam Co., Ltd. was organized for 1,100 workers.
According to the records, workers are very excited about the new meals.
In the program, the union presented gifts to 8 workers with serious illnesses and work-related accidents. Each worker was given a portion worth 700,000 VND (including 500,000 VND in cash and 200,000 VND in necessities).
The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 9 said that on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the unit was allocated to give 1,800 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to care for and support workers in difficulty.
In addition, the unit is working with the Trade Unions of communes, wards and grassroots trade unions to coordinate with enterprises to organize the "Union Meal" program for workers. Through this program, it contributes to taking care of the quality of meals for workers, building solidarity, attachment, and sharing between workers and employers and the Trade Union organization.
