Quang Tri - Many grassroots trade unions award scholarships and English writing pens to union members' children, contributing to caring for and supporting them before the new school year.

On August 7, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that on the occasion of the Action Month for Children in 2026, and preparing to enter the new school year, many grassroots trade unions in the area have organized programs to commend and reward children of union members and workers who are diligent, overcome difficulties, and study well.

The program was co-organized by grassroots trade unions of Quang Binh Garment Co., Ltd., Do Re Mi Montessori Kindergarten, Lam Minh Construction Co., Ltd., Lien Thuy People's Credit Fund, Thanh Thuy People's Credit Fund, Van Con Trading Co., Ltd., Hoa Binh Surveying and Construction Consulting Co., Ltd., Everest English Joint Stock Company and Thanh Loi Construction and Trading Co., Ltd.

On this occasion, the units awarded 5 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND; and also awarded 15 sets of handwriting pens for reading and learning English with a total value of 30 million VND from the support of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Golden Heart Charity Fund.

The gifts were given to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances who achieved good results in their studies to encourage, motivate, and empower them to continue to strive to rise up and strive for high results in the new school year.

This is a practical activity showing the concern of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers; and at the same time contributing to caring for and creating conditions for union members' children to develop comprehensively. Thereby, adding motivation for union member families to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and feel secure in working and production.
