From December 2025, will be fined for illegal use of security uniforms at the facility

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 24 of Decree 282/2025/ND-CP (effective from December 15, 2025) stipulates as follows:

1. Fines from VND 500,000 to VND 1 million for illegal storage, use or illegal possession of uniforms, badges, badges, signs, and certificates of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

2. Fines from VND 3 million to VND 5 million for illegal purchase, sale, or pledge of uniforms, badges, badges, signs, and certificates of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

3. Fine from 5 million VND to 10 million VND for one of the following acts:

a) Illegal production or forgery of uniforms, badges, badges, and signs of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level;

b) Deleting or correcting the content of the certificate of the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

4. Additional penalty:

Confiscation of exhibits and means of administrative violation for violations specified in Clauses 1 and 2, Point a, Clause 3 of this Article.

5. Remedial measures:

a) Forced to return any illegal profits obtained from committing a violation of the provisions of Clause 2, Point a, Clause 3 of this Article;

b) Forced return of a certificate of the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level for the violation of the provisions of Point b, Clause 3 of this Article.

Thus, from December 15, 2025, the illegal use of uniforms of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level will be punished as above.
