Regulations on the number of Deputy Heads of Committees of People's Councils at the commune level
Regulations on the number of Deputy Heads of Committees of People's Councils at the commune level are based on Resolution No. 106/2025/UBTVQH15.
Article 6 of Resolution No. 106/2025/UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee (effective from October 16, 2025) stipulates as follows:
1. Each Committee of the People's Council at the commune level is calculated with an average of 2 Deputy Heads of the Committee.
2. Based on the scale of natural area, population, classification of administrative units, urban classification, economic scale, practical situation of the locality and the orientation of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council shall specifically decide on the number of Deputy Heads of the People's Council in each commune-level administrative unit, ensuring that the total number of Deputy Heads of the People's Council of the province and city does not exceed the total number calculated according to the average framework prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article.
