New regulations on the number and structure of members of the People's Committee at the commune level

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:
Clauses 2, 3, Article 7, Decree 300/2025/ND-CP (effective from November 17, 2025) stipulates the number and structure of members of the People's Committee at the commune level as follows:
2. Commune-level People's Committee members include heads of specialized agencies under the Commune-level People's Committee, members in charge of military affairs, and members in charge of public security.
3. The number of members of the People's Committees at the provincial and commune levels who are heads of specialized agencies under the People's Committees at the provincial and commune levels shall comply with the Government's regulations on the organization of specialized agencies under the People's Committees of provinces and cities and the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones under provinces and cities.
Thus, the number and structure of members of the People's Committee at the commune level are prescribed as above.
