Enterprises recruit many unskilled workers
6 northern provinces have just coordinated to organize an online job fair. Of the more than 20,000 targets, unskilled workers are the most recruited.
Recently, the online job fair connected 6 provinces and cities including Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang. According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, during the peak of the production season, businesses are accelerating the recruitment of workers.
The entire job fair connecting 6 provinces and cities attracted 104 enterprises to participate in recruiting 20,303 workers. Hanoi alone has 36 enterprises recruiting 1,140 targets, Thai Nguyen province has 15 enterprises recruiting 9,083 targets; Tuyen Quang has 7 enterprises recruiting 3,753 targets; Quang Ninh has 14 enterprises recruiting 2,915 targets; Lang Son has 15 enterprises recruiting 330 targets.
In Hanoi, among the 1,140 targets, the demand for unskilled labor recruitment accounts for the largest number with 449 targets, accounting for 39.4%. Next, businesses need to recruit 372 workers with intermediate qualifications, technical workers and 319 workers with college and university degrees or higher.
Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center Vu Quang Thanh said that online job fairs, in addition to linking, connecting, and sharing databases, also enhance the ability to connect workers and businesses. In addition, workers have more opportunities to find jobs and businesses have more opportunities to recruit candidates.
