29 industrial parks in Phu Tho create jobs for more than 235,000 workers
Phu Tho - The whole province currently has 29 industrial parks (IPs), of which 17 IPs are operating, attracting 857 investment projects and creating stable jobs for more than 235,000 workers.
At Bo Tu Song Da Industrial Park (Hoa Binh ward), the production atmosphere in the first days of the new year 2026 is always vibrant.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - a garment worker shared: "Since working in the industrial park, my income has been more stable, averaging nearly 9 million VND per month. The company also cares about shift meals, insurance and welfare regimes, helping employees feel secure in staying long-term.
Not only creating jobs, industrial parks also contribute to improving the quality of human resources, gradually forming an industrial labor force. Many businesses focus on vocational training, investing in modern technology, helping workers access advanced production processes.
Mr. Nguyen Long - Chairman of the Trade Union, Deputy Executive Director of Production of R Vietnam Technical Research Company Limited (Hoa Binh Ward) informed that in addition to expanding production, the enterprise focuses on developing human resources through vocational training, improving labor discipline and building a core technical team.
"Currently, the company is creating stable jobs for nearly 1,000 workers with an average income of about 8-10 million VND/person/month.
In addition to wages, we pay attention to improving the working environment, shift meals and welfare regimes, helping workers feel secure in staying long-term" - Mr. Long said.
2025 is considered a pivotal year in the development of the industrial park system in Phu Tho province. The industrial parks have attracted over 1.06 billion USD of FDI capital and over 15,000 billion VND of domestic investment capital.
In parallel with attracting investment, Phu Tho province focuses on completing infrastructure inside and outside the industrial park fence, from transportation, electricity, water to wastewater treatment and logistics.
One of the key projects is Doan Hung Industrial Park, implemented in Doan Hung and Tay Coc communes, with a scale of over 475 hectares, a total investment of over 185 million USD, expected to open up new development space for the high-tech industry.
According to Mr. Hoang Long Bien - Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Phu Tho province, in the coming time, the province will orient the development of industrial parks in depth, not following quantity but focusing on project quality, land use efficiency and environmental protection.
At the same time, prioritize projects with high added value, creating spillover effects for the economy and linking industrial park development with the goal of sustainable growth.
Not only contributing to economic restructuring, industrial parks also create stable livelihoods for more than 235,000 workers, making an important contribution to ensuring social security and promoting the province's breakthrough in the new development stage.
