Hanoi announces 10th grade exam schedule for the 2025 - 2026 school year
Hanoi will organize the 10th grade entrance exam for high school in the 2025-2026 school year on June 7 and 8.
On February 24, the Hanoi People's Committee issued an enrollment plan for grade 10 high school for the 2025-2026 school year.
The exam will be held on June 7 and 8, 2025 with three subjects including Math, Literature and the exam subject (or the third exam).
Admission score based on the Math exam score + Language test score + Third exam subject score (exam) + Priority score (if any) + Encouragement score (if any).
In which, the test scores of the subjects are calculated on a scale of 10.0.
On the morning of June 7, candidates took a language test for 120 minutes, and the afternoon test for the third subject for 60 or 90 minutes.
On the morning of June 8, candidates only took the exam, the test time was 120 minutes.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the whole city has about 127,000 students graduating from high school.
To carry out the work of diverting students after graduating from high school, the number of students admitted to high schools is about 79,000 students; admitted to private high schools, vocational education centers - continuing education, vocational education institutions is about 48,000 students.
