Expressway through Thanh Hoa is congested for a long time
Thanh Hoa - Mai Son Expressway - National Highway 45 (section through Ha Trung district) was congested for a long time in the direction from Thanh Hoa to Hanoi on the afternoon of May 4.
According to the reflection of many drivers traveling on the route, at around 2:00 p.m. the same day, the flow of vehicles moving towards Hanoi was seriously congested, with vehicles lining up in a long line.
A representative of the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 3, Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that the cause of the prolonged congestion was due to two vehicles colliding near the Tam Diep tunnel area.
"Currently, we are urgently moving the two vehicles that collided, and at the same time regulating traffic to soon bring traffic back to normal" - the representative of this unit informed.
It is known that during the recent holiday, there were many local congestion on the expressway (through Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces). The main reason was the sudden increase in the number of vehicles, along with a number of minor collisions.
