Hai Phong City Labor Federation honors 111 typical collectives and individuals in studying and following Uncle Ho

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan - Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation emphasized that under the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the City Party Committee, the coordination and creation of conditions by all levels of government, professional departments at the same level and employers, the city's Trade Union levels have widely deployed studying and following Uncle Ho associated with the implementation of political tasks, patriotic emulation movements and trade union activities.

Studying and following Uncle Ho has not stopped at awareness but has gradually become a conscious and regular action of officials, union members, and workers; concretized by practical actions in labor production, in work, in life, and in trade union activities.

In the past 5 years, the city's Trade Union levels have organized more than 7,500 conferences and thematic meetings on studying and following Uncle Ho for more than 1 million turns of officials, union members, and workers; maintained and replicated hundreds of typical models and creative ways of working in studying and following Uncle Ho.

The spirit of creative labor, daring to think and dare to do following Uncle Ho's example was strongly awakened with over 160,000 solutions and initiatives to improve techniques and rationalize production being effectively applied, making thousands of billions of VND in profit; especially 561 collectives and individuals with excellent topics were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and were commended and rewarded at all levels.

Social care and social security activities also bear the imprint of studying and following Uncle Ho with a spirit of compassion, sharing and responsibility. 100% of union members and workers in difficult circumstances are supported promptly; more than 40% of union members and workers enjoy welfare benefits from preferential programs and over 72% of union members and workers have improved their cultural and spiritual lives; over 300 "Trade Union Shelter" houses have been built and repaired....

At the conference, the City Labor Federation commended specialized topics for 39 collectives and 72 typical individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style. On this occasion, the City Labor Federation also commended 90 typical families of workers, civil servants, and laborers in the 2023-2025 period; commended collectives and individuals who won prizes at the "You are the color of March sunshine" photo contest.
