More than 1.37 million people participated in 2 online contests organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union
Ho Chi Minh City - 2 online contests organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation attracted more than 1.37 million officials, union members, and workers to participate, an increase of more than 10 times compared to 2025.
On August 13, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a summary and awarded prizes for 2 online contests "Proud of the working class, Strong Trade Union" and "Safe workers - Strong Trade Union"; and at the same time, awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework".
According to Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, the 2 contests were organized from May 22 to May 31, 2026, attracting 2,558 grassroots trade unions, with a total number of participants in the contests reaching 1,373,542, an increase of more than 10 times compared to 2025. According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, this result shows the attractiveness and spread of the contests, and also shows the concern and response of ward, commune, special zone trade unions, grassroots trade unions, especially university and college trade unions.

Each contest is divided into 4 groups A, B, C and D. In each group, the Organizing Committee awards 1 First Prize - worth 2.5 million VND, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 50 Consolation Prizes for individuals and 20 Movement Prizes - worth 3 million VND for units with many union members participating.

Also at the conference, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 100 collectives and 139 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework", associated with the implementation of Resolution 6b/NQ-TLĐ and Directive 03/CT-TLĐ of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the period 2010-2025.
