Golden Heart Fund presents gifts to wounded and sick soldiers in Gia Lai on July 27th

On July 27, representatives of the Golden Heart Charity Fund visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support two cases of wounded and sick soldiers in the area.

In a small alley in group 3, alley 50/1/26/28 Le Dai Hanh, Thong Nhat ward, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam (born in 1957, from Ninh Binh) lives with his wife and daughter's family.

As a wounded and sick soldier in difficult circumstances, often sick whenever the weather changes, Mr. Lam still makes a living every day to earn extra income and cover living expenses.

Mr. Lam expressed: "We are very happy and touched because the Golden Heart Fund supports our family to further stabilize our lives. It is even more meaningful when the gift is given on War Invalids and Martyrs' Day.

For many years, in the small alley in group 3, the family, although in difficulty, has always received love, sharing, and support from neighbors and veterans.

In Dak Doa commune, representatives of the Golden Heart Fund and the An Phu Ward Trade Union and Ms. Ha Thi Giang Thao - Secretary of the Commune Party Committee visited and presented gifts to Mr. Phan Van Hung (born in 1955), a 4/4 wounded soldier.

Mr. Hung just went through a stroke, his health is weak, and he has difficulty walking. Currently, he lives with his daughter's family and a sick child, who cannot support themselves.

Ms. Phan Thi My Hang (union member of An Phu Ward Trade Union, working at Dak Doa Medical Center, Mr. Hung's daughter) said: "The stroke made his daily life and travel more difficult, he had to have someone regularly stay at home to take care of him, support treatment and practice walking. Being supported by the Golden Heart Fund coming to the place to give gifts, the family is very happy and touched.

It is known that in addition to working at Dak Doa Medical Center and raising two children to study, Ms. Hang always spends time taking care of her father and older sister.

Although the gift is small, it carries profound spiritual meaning, adding faith and motivation for wounded and sick soldiers' families to overcome difficult circumstances.

Responding to the series of activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026) and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Golden Heart Charity Fund, the Social Work Committee of Lao Dong Newspaper has coordinated with representative offices to review and introduce policy families in difficult circumstances in the area to support and contribute to spreading the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude".

Support funds are deducted from the mobilization source to support activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Fund's establishment and the regular mobilization source for activities to care for people with meritorious services and policy families on the occasion of July 27.
