LD26182: The pain of a female worker who lost her husband due to an accident, raising 3 young children alone
Thanh Hoa - After a labor accident, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le faces the pain of losing her husband, raising 3 young children alone in a makeshift leaf house.
In the late afternoon of July 18, a particularly serious labor accident occurred at the pig farm of Dabaco Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd. in Truong Giang village, Thach Quang commune, killing 5 people.
Among the deceased victims, one was from Hanoi, 4 were from Thanh Hoa. Dien Quang commune alone had 3 victims.
A week after the incident occurred, a mournful atmosphere still enveloped the families of the victims. Relatives of the victims have not yet recovered from the sudden passing of the men who are the pillars of the family.

In a temporary house built of bamboo and rattan, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le, residing in Quang Thanh village, Dien Quang commune, was stunned when mentioning her husband. Her husband is Mr. Bui Van V. - one of the 5 victims who died in the labor accident at the pig farm.
Sharing with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Le said that after getting married, she and her husband were given a piece of land next to the house by their parents to build a place to live. Due to lack of stable jobs and low income, the family's life is always lacking.
Her family is considered a near-poor household in the locality. To have money to cover living expenses and raise 3 young children, the couple has to work as hired laborers in many different jobs. The solid house to shelter the children from the sun and rain is still just an unfinished dream.
About a year ago, the couple sent their children to their grandparents to take care of and then together applied to work at the farm of Dabaco Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd. in Thach Quang commune, more than 40km from home.
At the company, Mr. V. works in the mechanical and electrical repair department, while Ms. Le works in the livestock area. The couple is arranged a room in the farm premises.
They planned to stick with this job for a long time, both having money to raise their children and trying to save money to build a solid house. However, the plan had not yet come true when disaster suddenly struck.

The couple decided to work here for a long time, partly to have money to raise the children, partly to save up to build a more solid house for the children. Unexpectedly, disaster struck, my husband died, now I have to raise 3 young children alone, I don't know what to do" - Ms. Le said choked up.
Mentioning the upcoming days, the young woman could not make any plans. The pain of losing her husband and the burden of taking care of her children made her fall into a state of confusion and deadlock.
Until now, my mind is still unstable, every time I doze off I think of my husband. I need more time to calm down and then think about whether to continue working or not, because ahead are 3 young children to take care of" - Ms. Le shared.
In Dien Quang commune, in addition to Ms. Le's family, 2 other families also lost their breadwinner in the accident. Behind the sudden departure are elderly mothers, lonely wives and young children who do not fully understand the loss that is enveloping their families.
