Giving 60 million VND to 6 families of wounded and sick soldiers in Phu Tho

This is one of the activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, and also a series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund.

The most touching is the stop at the house of Mr. Nguyen Duy Ta (village 4, Tu Vu commune, Phu Tho province), a 1/4 wounded soldier, who lost his eyesight after the fierce battle in the Quang Nam - Quang Ngai battlefield in 1975.

Representatives of Tien Du Secondary School, where his daughter works, also brought a small gift as a thank you to the wounded soldier.

Leaving Mr. Ta's house, the delegation went to the house of Mr. Nguyen Van Chieu (group 14, Phu Ninh commune, Phu Tho province) - 2/3 war invalid, enlisted in 1968 and seriously injured in a battle in the Southern battlefield.

War sequelae and age have made his health much weaker: unable to walk on his own, unable to speak, plus high blood pressure, diabetes, all daily activities depend on relatives.

Receiving support of 10 million VND from the Fund, Mr. Chieu's family representative emotionally thanked them.

Continuing the journey, the delegation visited Mr. Nguyen Van Manh (village 1, Binh Phu commune) - a 1/4 wounded soldier (81%).

Chatting with the working delegation and neighbors in the small house, Mr. Manh still retains the cheerful and generous features of a soldier of the past. Receiving the gift from Mrs. Nguyen Thu Ha, he emotionally thanked the Golden Heart Charity Fund for not minding the long distance, always remembering soldiers like him.

The delegation also visited and presented gifts to 3 other families of war invalids and sick soldiers in the commune, namely Mr. Nguyen Khuong - 2nd-class sick soldier; Mr. Nguyen Van Ha and Mr. Nguyen Tien Uy - war invalids, 58 years of Party membership. Each person has a different situation, but they are all old, weak, and have many economic hardships.
