Tet bonus increases by 16-20% in Dong Nai

Dong Tien Joint Stock Company ( Amata Industrial Park, Long Binh Ward, Dong Nai Province) has announced the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year bonus in 2026 for employees with an average bonus of more than 21 million VND/person, about 16% higher than last year.
Ms. Pham Thi Ha - a worker in Group 18, Garment Enterprise 1 - who has worked at Dong Tien Joint Stock Company for 5 years said that she and other workers were very happy because the bonus was higher than last year. Ms. Ha thanked the Board of Directors for always caring for and taking care of the spiritual and material lives of workers, and hoped to accompany the company in continuing to develop.
Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company (Thong Nhat Commune, Dong Nai Province) also announced the Lunar New Year bonus for union members and employees at an average of 14.5 million VND/person, about 20% higher than last year. Mr. Ngo Ngoc Thuan - Deputy Director of Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company - said that in 2025, the company will grow by more than 20%, so in addition to increased product salaries, Tet bonuses will also increase compared to last year.
A representative of the Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Company Limited (Thanh Phu Industrial Park, Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai Province, has more than 40,000 employees) said that the 2026 Lunar New Year bonus for union members and employees of the company is equivalent to the bonus of previous years, because this content has been signed by the union and the company and included in the collective labor agreement. According to the company's union representative, the company is estimated to spend about 600 billion VND to give Tet bonuses to union members and workers.
Nearly 1,500 enterprises report bonus levels
Based on data reported by nearly 1,500 enterprises, the highest Lunar New Year bonus in Dong Nai province is currently recorded at 840 million VND for private enterprises. In this block, the average bonus for employees is about 11.4 million VND/person. For FDI enterprises, the highest bonus is 700 million VND and the average bonus is 13.3 million VND/person. The 2026 New Year also recorded the highest bonus of up to 228.5 million VND at a foreign-invested enterprise.
In addition to cash bonuses, businesses also implement many other forms of care for workers such as organizing year-end parties, giving gifts from companies and grassroots unions, supporting bus tickets or arranging vehicles to take workers home to celebrate Tet.
The Department of Home Affairs has also closely coordinated with the Provincial Federation of Labor to carry out social welfare activities such as "Tet Sum Vay", 0 VND booths, support Tet gifts for workers in difficulty and visit and support families with work-related accidents.
