New Year's bonuses in Hai Phong increase, highest up to 137 million VND

Accordingly, from the data of 3,927 enterprises with expected New Year bonuses and 4,291 enterprises with expected Binh Ngo Lunar New Year bonuses (with data sent to the Department), most enterprises have plans to reward employees with a bonus of 100% - 120% compared to the previous year.

The average bonus for the Lunar New Year is estimated at VND 1,130,000/person, an increase of VND 160,000/person, equivalent to an increase of 16.5% compared to the average bonus for the Lunar New Year last year. According to the trend in recent years, businesses in the area generally do not pay attention to paying New Year's bonuses to employees; the bonus level at businesses with major bonuses ranges from 300,000 VND to 3,500,000 VND/person.

Many foreign-invested enterprises do not implement New Year's bonuses, focusing resources on paying Lunar New Year bonuses to employees.

The specific data on the expected Lunar New Year bonus at enterprises in the city is as follows: The type of LLC with 100% state capital is determined to have an average bonus for employees at enterprises with expected bonuses: 670,000 VND; the lowest individual bonus: 100,000 VND; the highest individual bonus: 12,000,000 VND (Lai Vu Industrial Park One Member Co., Ltd.).

The type of company with shares and capital contributions dominated by the state, the average bonus of employees at enterprises is expected to be 1,020,000 VND. Lowest individual bonus: 300,000 VND. Highest individual bonus: 5,000,000 VND (Hai Phong Water Supply Joint Stock Company).

Types of private enterprises, the average bonus for employees at enterprises is expected to be 990,000 VND. The lowest individual bonus is 50,000 VND. Highest individual bonus: 4,000,000 VND (Hai Duong Urban Environment Joint Stock Company).

Types of foreign-invested enterprises: average bonus for employees at enterprises with expected rewards: VND 1,280,000. The lowest individual bonus is 50,000 VND. The highest individual bonus is 137,000,000 VND ( Deep C Management Company Limited).

As of the time of reporting, Deep C Management Company Limited (Ngo Quyen ward) is the enterprise with the highest expected New Year bonus in 2026 of 137,000,000 VND. Among the types of enterprises, private enterprises are recorded to have an average increase of about 39% in New Year's bonuses compared to the previous year.
