Hai Phong records highest salary of over 420 million VND/person/month
Hai Phong - The Department of Home Affairs has just released a summary of the salary situation of workers in 2025.
According to the summary of the City Department of Home Affairs, enterprises in the city basically comply with the provisions of the labor law on wages.
Enterprises have developed, reviewed and adjusted salary scales, salary tables, labor norms and salary payment regulations according to the provisions of law; adjusted the salary level stated in the labor contract to ensure that it is not lower than the minimum wage and is in accordance with the production and business conditions of enterprises.
Of which, 100% of enterprises reported applying the minimum wage according to the location where the enterprise operates.
The average salary in 2025 of employees at enterprises in the city (sammulated from reports of 6,139 enterprises) is 9,543,915 VND/person/month, an increase of 4.1% compared to the average salary in 2024.
In which, LLCs with 100% state capital: lowest salary 4,323,000 VND/person/month; average 8,240,000 VND/person/month; highest: 37,300,000 VND/person/month (Hai Phong Lottery One Member Co., Ltd.).
Companies with state-owned shares and capital contributions: lowest salary 4,800,000 VND/person/month; average 9,480,000 VND/person/month; highest: 46,500,000 VND/person/month (Hai Phong Public Works and Tourism Services Joint Stock Company).
Private enterprises: lowest salary is 4,000,000 VND/person/month; average is 8,930,000 VND/person/month; highest: 95,000,000 VND/person/month (Hai Duong Automobile Investment and Service Company Limited).
Foreign-invested enterprises (FDI): lowest salary 4,530,000 VND/person/month; average 9,720,000 VND/person/month; highest is 420,553,000 VND/person/month (USA Livestock Food Company Limited).
Thus, the highest salary recorded at enterprises in the city is 420,553,000 VND/person/month at Hoa Ky Livestock Food Company Limited (Ke Sat commune).
Average wages in enterprises employing a lot of workers, such as foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) and private enterprises, continue to maintain an upward trend, with average wages increasing by 4.4% - 4.5% compared to the previous year.
The city has not recorded a prolonged unpaid salary for workers in 2025. This result is mainly due to the basic stable production and business situation of the majority of enterprises in the city; enterprises proactively develop and implement labor use plans, salary payment plans associated with production and business results; the application of the minimum wage, review and adjustment of salary scales, salary tables and general labor contracts is implemented promptly and in accordance with the provisions of law.
In addition, the city's functional agencies have proactively grasped the situation, strengthened monitoring, guidance, and urging businesses to fully fulfill their obligations to pay salaries to employees; promptly exchanged and supported to remove difficulties for businesses facing difficulties in the production and business process, especially businesses that employ many workers and businesses in industrial parks and economic zones.
