On December 31, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance announced the payment of January 2026 installment salary in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, on the occasion of the 2026 New Year's holiday, civil servants and public employees will have 4 consecutive days off from Thursday, January 1, 2026 to Sunday, January 4, 2026, so Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance announces the pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule for January 2026 as follows:

For cash: Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Binh Duong Central Post Office, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Central Post Office will organize payment on the morning of January 10, 2026 at all payment points; from January 12, 2026 to January 25, 2026 at the Post Offices of the Central/District Post Office.

For non-cash use: Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance will transfer money to the beneficiary's account from January 5, 2026 (the first working day of 2026).

Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance recommends that beneficiaries open accounts and register to receive pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts to reduce travel time, ensure quick and convenient payment; at the same time, contribute to the effective implementation of the application of the National Population Database and implement the policy of paying pensions and social insurance benefits without cash according to the Government's direction.
