From January 1, 2026, the regional minimum wage in Lang Son will increase to 350,000 VND, the highest up to over 4.1 million VND/month.

From January 1, 2026, the regional minimum wage in Lang Son province and its districts and communes will be officially adjusted according to the provisions of Decree 293/2025/ND-CP of the Government.

Accordingly, the regional minimum wage in 2026 in Lang Son will increase from 250,000 - 350,000 VND/month compared to 2025, depending on the region.

According to the new regulations, Lang Son province is no longer a part of regions I and II. The whole province only applies two regional minimum wage levels, including region III and region IV.

Specifically, the minimum wage in Lang Son region III is determined to be 4.14 million VND/month, equivalent to 20,000 VND/hour. The applied area includes the wards: Tam Thanh, Luong Van Tri, Ky Lua, Dong Kinh.

Meanwhile, the minimum wage in region IV is 3.7 million VND/month, equivalent to 17,800 VND/hour, applied to the remaining communes and wards in the whole province.

Decree 293/2025/ND-CP also clearly stipulates the principles for determining the area to apply the regional minimum wage for employers.

Accordingly, employers operating in a region will apply the minimum wage of that region.

In case the enterprise has many units and branches operating in different areas, each unit will apply the minimum wage according to the area where the head office is located.

For enterprises operating in industrial parks, export processing zones, high-tech zones or concentrated digital technology zones located in many areas with different minimum wages, the applicable salary will be the highest among the relevant areas.

In case the area has changed its name or separated, the employer will temporarily apply the local minimum wage before changing, until the Government issues new regulations.

For newly established areas from one or more areas with different minimum wages, the applicable minimum wage will be the highest among the old areas, until there are official regulations to replace them.

The increase in regional minimum wages from the beginning of 2026 is expected to contribute to improving income, ensuring social security for workers, especially workers in the enterprise, production - service sector in the central urban areas of Lang Son.
