An Giang - Not only enthusiastically working and producing, but union members and workers also share their responsibility with society through donating blood to save lives.
The blood donation festival is part of a series of events of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor to practically celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).Union members and workers are not only enthusiastic about their professional work but also conscious of sharing with the community through voluntary blood donation.Ms. Le Thi Be, a union member of the company, shared that she has donated blood 19 times over the past 10 years. I find that blood donation is very good to help patients with blood needs so they should continue to participate. Every time I donate blood, I feel very happy because I have done useful and meaningful things. I hope everyone will understand and participate more in this kindness," Ms. Be happily said.Ms. Ton Nu My Hanh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Hwaseung Rach Gia Company Limited said: This blood donation activity was held for the first time at the company's Trade Union and through the call and mobilization, it received a very enthusiastic response from union members and workers of the company.The Company's leaders as well as the Trade Union consider this a humanitarian activity connecting volunteer hearts and can later do it periodically to connect and donate more units of blood. Thereby creating a higher community activity such as testing for rare blood groups to create rare blood clubs.More than 150 union members and workers gathered early enough, completed procedures to fill information, and checked blood type before taking blood. Everyone is very active and enthusiastic for meaningful activities that help the community.Mr. Tran Minh Thuan, a union member of the company, shared: I have also donated blood 3 times. After donating blood, my health is still normal, my blood will also be regenerated, I will still ensure the work. If the company had another organization, I would have responded and participated.Mr. Do Tran Thinh - Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor said: This program was organized by the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, the Provincial Red Cross Society and the Trade Union of Hwaseung Rach Gia Company Limited (Thanh Loc Industrial Park). Mr. Thinh also, along with union members and workers, participated in this blood donation.Not only is it a practical activity towards celebrating the founding day of the Vietnam Trade Union, but it also helps union members of the company share their responsibility with the community from meaningful blood donation activities.The Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to spread the blood donation movement so that it becomes a widespread activity, becoming a regular movement of the Trade Union.
