Dak Lak border commune presents Tet gifts to policy families and prestigious people
Dak Lak - Policy families and prestigious people in Ia Lop border commune have received many meaningful Tet gifts from the Party Committee and local authorities.
Lunar New Year is not only a transitional moment of heaven and earth but also a time when human love and the spirit of sharing spread deeply in the community.
In that sense, at the beginning of February 2026, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ia Lop border commune (Dak Lak province) organized 6 working groups to 12 villages in the area to give Tet gifts to people.
The gifts were given to policy families and prestigious people in the community. Specifically, 62 policy households and 6 prestigious people received gifts, each worth 600,000 VND.
Mr. Phan Minh Dien, a wounded soldier in difficult circumstances in Ia Lop commune, said that Tet gifts are not only of material value but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping families reduce worries before the New Year.
As a reputable person in the community, Mr. Lang Van Xuan expressed his emotion when being visited and given Tet gifts.
According to him, the concern and gratitude of the Party and State is the motivation for policy families and prestigious people to continue to promote their exemplary role, mobilize people to well comply with policies and laws, and jointly build united and strong villages and hamlets.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee of Ia Lop commune - said that Tet gifts, although not large in material terms, have profound spiritual significance, helping policy families and prestigious people become warmer when Tet comes and spring returns.
According to Mr. Tuan, through this activity, people clearly feel the practical concern of the Party, State and local authorities. Thereby ensuring that no one is left behind in the common joy of the traditional Tet.
The establishment of 6 working groups directly going to the grassroots level also shows the proactiveness and closeness of the Party Committee, government and Fatherland Front of Ia Lop commune.
Not only giving gifts, the delegations also grasp the thoughts, aspirations and actual difficulties of the people, as a basis for localities to adjust and improve appropriate social security policies, improving the efficiency of State management" - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan affirmed.
Ia Lop border commune currently has 1,914 households with 6,446 people. Among them, there are 938 ethnic minority households with 3.331 people.
Currently, the whole commune still has 310 near-poor households with 1,041 people, accounting for 16.2%.
