Can Tho - Mr. Pham Van Buoc and Ms. Trieu Thi Ngoc Diem have just been elected as Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, term I, 2025 - 2030.

On the afternoon of January 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City held a conference to summarize the work of the Front in 2025 and socio-political organizations in 2025 to deploy work in 2026.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City launched a contribution to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10. Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Can Tho City praised the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and socio-political organizations of the City.

He suggested that the Front continue to promote propaganda and mobilize people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; the Resolution of the City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; the Central Committee's strategic resolutions; spread the atmosphere of the 14th National Party Congress and propagate the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Mr. Thanh emphasized the need to strengthen coordination with member organizations to effectively implement the 2026 Coordination and Unity of Action Program; organize election work well; promote supervision and social criticism; regularly stick to the grassroots, promptly gather and reflect people's opinions and recommendations.

He suggested that the Front focus on innovating the content and methods of operation; perfecting the streamlined and efficient organization of the apparatus; building a team of cadres with courage and responsibility; promoting digital transformation. At the conference, delegates signed an agreement to supplement and replace the members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, term I, 2025 - 2030 for Mr. Pham Van Buuoc - Chairman of the Can Tho City Veterans Association; Mr. Ta Dinh Nghia - Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Chairman of the Can Tho City Journalists Association; Ms. Trieu Thi Ngoc Diem - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Ward People's Council and Mr. Phan Lung Pha - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of My Quoi Ward.

The conference also elected Mr. Pham Van Buu and Ms. Trieu Thi Ngoc Diem to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, term I, 2025 - 2030.
