From accounting students to journeys full of love
For 16 years, students of the Youth Volunteer Team of the Faculty of Accounting (University of Labor and Social Affairs), have carried out many community activities.
Journey to spread the spirit of "Giving is forever
Established in December 2010, the Youth Volunteer Team of the Faculty of Accounting (under the University of Labor and Social Affairs) was once the first and only Volunteer Team of the faculty.
Over 16 years, the Team has maintained regular activities, becoming a common home for enthusiastic, dynamic students who want to contribute to the community.
According to Ms. Le Khanh Linh, former member of the Youth Volunteer Team of the Faculty of Accounting (2016 - 2020), the Team not only supports difficult circumstances but also creates an environment for students to train and develop themselves.

The joy of volunteering comes from small things. Participating in volunteering helps me dedicate my youth, be with people with the same aspirations and accumulate valuable soft skills for later life," Ms. Linh shared.
Throughout its operation, the Team has implemented many meaningful programs. Notably, the "Warm Tet of Love" series is organized annually; giving gifts to disadvantaged households in the middle of the Red River at the foot of Long Bien Bridge, the Bac Ninh Provincial Center for Nurturing People with Meritorious Services and Social Protection, or the Huong La Charity House (Bac Ninh)...

In parallel with phased activities, the Team also organizes regular programs such as distributing porridge at night in Hanoi's Old Quarter, distributing porridge in front of the gate of the National Children's Hospital, or cooking vegetarian rice at Thien Phuc Pagoda... These activities are still maintained regularly every week.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Nguyet - Deputy Team Leader - said: "In the most recent activity, about 50 porridge portions were given. Some people received them and led us to a more difficult situation, to see that volunteering is not only giving but also receiving lessons about humanity.
Funds for charity activities are mobilized from many different sources. In addition to the joint efforts of the school, teachers and students, the Team also proactively organizes fundraising activities such as selling handicrafts made by members themselves.
Continuing generations, extending arms
According to Ms. Do Thi Thu Hien - group leader of the Youth Volunteer Team of the Faculty of Accounting, in the coming time, the Team will continue to expand its operations.

In addition to organizing internal fundraising activities, the Team aims to strengthen links with businesses to have longer-term and more professional companionship, and at the same time build a network of alumni to connect, share experiences and support future generations," Ms. Hien said.
Ms. Hien emphasized that each activity is not only meaningful in terms of immediate support but also a way to spread the spirit of social responsibility among students.

When a young person is willing to stay up late cooking porridge or spend time giving gifts, it will inspire those around them to act together," Ms. Hien shared.
Sharing the same thought, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Nguyet shared: "Joy comes from small things. Participating in volunteering, I not only give but also receive a lot of love in return.

It is these silent actions that are continuing to spread and ignite through generations, so that the journey "Giving is forever" does not only stop within the scope of a team, but becomes a common spirit of many students and the community.
