Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - emphasized that the development of health care for the Con Dao special area must be associated with the development orientation of Con Dao in the future.
Therefore, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health needs to promptly advise the City People's Committee on specific goals and solutions to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of officers, soldiers and people of Con Dao as well as fishermen and tourists in the coming time.
Previously, information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that the special feature of the Program of practice at the General Hospital associated with the 4-year Medical Station is that there are 2 volunteer doctors practicing at the medical station of the Con Dao special zone.
Unlike the previous 3 courses, course 4 is the first course to apply the 6-3-3-3-3-3 rotation model, including: The first 6 months of practice at a general hospital, the next 3 months at a health station. After that, they will continue to spend 3 months in the hospital, 3 months at the health station and 3 months at the end of the hospital.
This model aims to help doctors regularly rotate between hospitals and grassroots health care, deeply understand the health system and improve their adaptability to different working environments.
