Continue to thoroughly grasp the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation

Mr. Tran Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the 35 Fatherland Front and Central Organizations; Mr. Nguyen Minh Chung - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the 35 Party Committees of the Fatherland Front (FFC) and Central Organizations - chaired.

The conference was attended by leaders of Party Committees and Party cells under the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and contributing opinions to the content of the draft report summarizing the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations in 2025 and key tasks and solutions in 2026.

Receiving comments discussed at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for 35 Party Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions Tran Thang said: Throughout 2025, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions have always closely followed the leadership and direction of the Central Executive Committee, directly and regularly the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat, to lead and direct Party committees, Party organizations and cadres and Party members to advise on successfully organizing congresses at all levels in the Party Committee and the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central Trade Unions, term 2025-2030.

This is the first Congress to implement a new organizational model with the theme "Building a clean and strong Party Committee; strongly innovating thinking and leadership methods; gathering and mobilizing all classes of people to promote democracy and the strength of national great solidarity, united, joined hands to enter an era of developing a rich, prosperous, civilized, and happy country" and the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Innovation - Development".

According to Mr. Tran Thang, in the context of both implementing professional work and arranging the organization and apparatus in the spirit of "running and lining up at the same time", immediately after the establishment of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee has improved the organization, issued a Decision to establish Steering Committee 35, Secretariat; issued directives to specify the directions and orientations of the Central Steering Committee 35. Thereby, it has effectively implemented the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and promoting the inherent strengths of organizations.

Typically, the Party Committee is one of 20 collectives with outstanding achievements nationwide in implementing the 2025 Political Science Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and continues to be trusted by the Central Steering Committee 35 to assign important tasks in 2026.

In the coming time, Mr. Tran Thang suggested that the Party organizations and the Steering Committees of 35 Party Committees under their management perform many specific tasks, including: Closely following the direction of the Standing Committee and the Steering Committee of 35 Party Committees, continuing to thoroughly and deeply grasp and seriously, promptly and effectively implement the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new revolutionary period.

Enhance thinking, innovate content, methods and determination to act; identify this as a class struggle on the ideological and political ideal front, an important and regular task of the entire Party, people, army and the entire political system;

Carefully review and substantially evaluate the results achieved; identify weaknesses, difficulties, obstacles, and lessons learned to effectively organize the implementation of tasks and solutions in 2026. In particular, the responsibility of heads of Party committees and Party organizations at all levels is emphasized and attached to the results of performing this task.
