Giving Tet gifts to policy families in Quang Tri during Tet
Quang Tri - Local leaders have organized visits and Tet gifts for policy families and people with jobs on the occasion of Binh Ngo Spring 2026.
On the morning of February 2nd, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee organized a working delegation led by Mr. Hoang Nam - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office and the Department of Home Affairs to visit, encourage and give Tet gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the province.
At the places visited, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee cordially inquired about health and life, and sent best New Year wishes to policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
Comrade emphasized that every Tet holiday and Spring comes is a time for the whole society to express deep gratitude to those who sacrificed and contributed for the independence, freedom and peace of the Fatherland. The tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source" is a noble human value, creating great spiritual strength, connecting generations in the cause of building and protecting the country.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that caring for the material and spiritual life of policy families, people with meritorious services, families of martyrs, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers is not only the responsibility of all levels and sectors but also the duty and morality of the whole society.
Comrade wished the families to continue to promote traditions, propagate and mobilize their children and grandchildren and residential communities to well comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; strive to study, train, contribute, and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, contributing to building Quang Tri homeland to become increasingly developed.
At the same time, he requested the Party committees, authorities, sectors, and local mass organizations to continue to pay attention to and care for the lives of policy families and people with meritorious services with specific and practical actions, thereby effectively implementing social security and promoting the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source" of the nation.
